ULTIMATEAUDIO UA-CX-162-IC

The UA-CX-162-IC is a “drywall speaker” that is installed flush into the plasterboard ceiling and/or wall. The front is made of plasterboard; the fine filling work on the frame, in which the grille sits flush, has already been completed at the factory. A big advantage is that the drywaller does not have to deal with complex precision work on the construction site. The transitions between frame and grille are absolutely clean.

The loudspeaker is simply installed into the previously created substructure. At the outer edges, the Rigips board is filled with the remaining Rigips ceiling/wall, a crack bridge is installed and then sanded. The dust cover that sits in front of the speaker is then removed and the grille is magnetically inserted. The height of the grid can be fine-tuned because the holding magnets sit on threads. COMPLETE!

As standard, the grille is available in RAL white, but any other RAL color is possible upon request.

In contrast to other manufacturers of such loudspeakers we work with closed housings that are optimally tailored to the loudspeaker chassis. The housing, which is closed at the rear, avoids unwanted acoustic effects in the volume between the plasterboard ceiling and the shell ceiling, as no sound escapes from the rear. This increases the playback quality many times over, compared to systems that simply sound “into the ceiling” from behind.
